English Works program 2023 Opens New Doors of exploring creativity and learning new things.

The English for Workforce Development in Pakistan program (English Works) sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, improves the English Language skills of unemployed or under-employed youth age, which also enhances entrepreneurial and technical skills to increase employability. The program also helps the alumni to explore their hidden qualities, their creativity, their learning, and many more.

In the English works program, we learn about grammar, parts of speech, tenses, words, and different skills that enhance our speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. Sir Kashif delivered the lecture about part of the speech in detail. And also tell the trick that how we can remember the part of speech as long as possible. At the end of the lecture, Sir Afzal sang a poem related to the part of the speech. 

We wrapped up the week with multiple exciting learning-based activities. Mam Tayyaba Ehsan conducts different exciting and learning-based activities. She conducted digital tool activity named KAHOOT! very friendly. We played KAHOOT! to analyze our grip on "Tenses& Parts of speech!".The competition to win was in full swing. The students participated in the Team Building activities to demonstrate different vocabulary words and their grammatical categories. We loved this activity. English works!is the most promising program to stimulate learning with fun.

January 25,2023 we had a wonderful lecture on SEVEN HABITS OF HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE demonstrated by the program manager, head librarian, MR. MUHAMMAD UMER students were asked to note down 5 words from the lecture to find out their synonyms and antonyms to discuss in their next class. At the end of the lecture, students asked questions about habit formation. This lecture was a great motivation for me and I would now try to find a win-win solution to every problem in the future. And I also now working on changing my mindset from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset.
